Leed Certified Projects: Decorating with Fabric Contract Solar Shading Systems combine function, flexibility and a clean design aesthetic for managing sunlight in today's commercial interiors. A broad collection of high-performance, light-filtering fabrics contribute to optimizing natural light while controlling heat and glare. State-of-the-art motorization, control systems and accessories can be configured to achieve the high level of energy efficiency required for any LEED® certified project.
Eco-Friendly Fabrics: We offer a large selection of PVC Free and 100% recyclable fabrics for solar shading. From Sheerweave there is the Infinity series available in nine colors and the 7000 opaque fabric now in eight colors. Mermet's collection of opaque fabrics include Obion in four colors and Flocke in fifteen colors. Ofcourse there is GreenScreen in five levels of openess and different fabric options.
Organic Drapery:
We are now manufacturing SUSTAINABLE SILK FABRIC with USA grown ORGANIC COTTON LININGS. 145 handwoven SUSTAINABLE SILK colors combined with certified ORGANIC cotton sateen lining and Flannel interlining. To learn more, contact us at neil@dwfcontract.com
Green Upholstery: For Upholstery needs The Kravet Green Collection is made of 100% recycled polyester. Our recycled polyester is a unique blend of post-industrial and post-consumer fibers. These fabrics are woven and treated with no additional chemicals. During the finishing process, water based products and environmentally approved dyes are used. After years of enjoyable use, these fabrics are recyclable.
Cradle to Cradle Certified: Xorel fabrics has earned the Cradle to Cradle Silver Level Certification. This means that this wonderful upholstery fabric met certain criteria such as: design for material reuse and recycling; effecient use of energy and water throughout production; and instituting startegies for social responsiblity. Xorel fabric is available for sampling upon request.

Shades: We carry a huge selection of all types of shades. Our specialty is Solar Shades and Screens. We can offer either manual or motorized options. Also please check out our great line of Insulated Shades. In addition we offer the complete line of Hunter Douglas Contract shades. Our in-house workroom can create any style of Roman, Balloon our Austrian Shades.
Blinds: From a simple Mini-Blind to Vertical Blinds to FR Wood Blinds we carry a full line of all types of blinds. We can motorize any type of blind including skylight treatments. In addition we offer the complete line of Hunter Douglas Contract blinds.
Shutters: Our selection of Shutters includes vinyl, composite and wood. We even offer FR Shutters. We can do painted, stained or custom finished shutters. Shutters from Decorating with Fabric Contract even can provide motorized solutions.
Drapery: This is where our greatest creations are made: In our own workroom. Decorating with Fabric Contract has worked with many designers and architects to turn their ideas into fabulous window treatments. We can fabricate simple cornices or elaborate swags and jabots in your fabrics or ours.
Wall Upholstery: Decorating with Fabric Contract can upholster walls in a variety of methods. We can apply the fabric either directly to the walls or on Velcro panels. We can also use a fabric track system. Whichever system you prefer our expert upholsterers can create an amazing effect with Wall Upholstery.
Reupholstery: Decorating with Fabric Contract offers solutions to all your upholstery, Reupholstery, and furnishings needs. We provide upholstery services for hotels, offices, schools, hospitals, conference rooms, dining rooms and more. We pick up anywhere in the New York Metro area and deliver back to you a piece that looks brand new.
Cubicle Curtains: All made to order hospital cubicle curtains are manufactured with inherently fire retardant (IFR) fabric; the fire retardant lasts through the life of the curtain. The top FR nylon mesh with 1 1/2" woven, snag free header, combined with our #2 grommet, provides superior durability and long lasting performance. We warrant our labor & materials for one year, on every medical privacy curtain we manufacture to be free of defects under normal handling conditions and when care instructions are complied with fully.
Stage Curtains: Not all stage curtains are made the same way, most are still make like they were 100 years ago. Decorating with Fabric Stage Curtains are designed with unique features to eliminate problem areas and to provide curtains that start out looking beautiful and retain that look for years of service.
