Draperies and Upholstery by Decorating with Fabric

In keeping up with my past several posts and newsletters, I am sharing some recent installations. Below is a ceiling we upholstered in a Faux Leather. It is recessed into a wood frame. I particulary like the detailing of using textiles as a ceiling treatment.

Below is a beautiful example of Gathered Balloon Shades in an arch window along with two small windows on each side. The selection of fabric and trim is well done. The design team of Treby/Spanedda provided the creativity of this treatment.

Below is a very simple treatment that I like. We used shirring tape at the header and mounted to the twisted pole without rings. The silk drapes are lined and interlined for added body and sun rot protection.

Hi Neil, The leather ceiling looks great. I've done some fabric ceilings but the faux leather looks great and work look wonderful in a library type room.
